About Shyamal Mitra
Shyamal Mitra (6 January 1929 – 15 November 1990) was an Indian singer, composer, and music director. He was one of the most prominent figures in Bengali music, known for his melodious voice and significant contributions to both modern Bengali songs and film soundtracks. His career spanned over four decades, during which he composed music for over 100 Bengali films and numerous Hindi films.
